17 year-old singer-songwriter, Julia Kate, began her music journey at the age of only 6 studying voice, piano, and guitar. She is currently in her Junior year of high school in North Hollywood, California, which has been her home all of her life. While she is still studying music theory and recording arts to this day, Julia continues to perform with the school’s Popular Music Ensemble as a lead vocalist / pianist.

Inspired by artists like Taylor Swift, Lorde and Lana Del Rey, Julia adapted her songwriting craft during the pandemic as an outlet to process the events transpiring in the world. In January 2021, Julia was introduced to well known LA-based producer Johnny What (Walk The Moon, JuiceWRLD, Pentatonix), who immediately took her under his wing.
